About Tankmeasure

Tankmeasure is a free, focused calculator for turning internal tank dimensions and liquid depth into a geometric volume estimate.

What we built it to do

Compare empty, partial and full volumes for rectangular tanks and flat-ended horizontal or vertical cylinders. You can work in metres, centimetres, millimetres, inches or feet; the answer is shown in litres and cubic metres.

The calculator works in your browser and does not need registration or payment. Read the calculation guide for formulas, examples and the limitations of the estimate.

How the site is supported

We intend to support this free tool through display advertising where approved. Publisher identification is included, but no advertising delivery script or consent-message script is active in this version. Publication does not mean that an advertising network has approved this site or that it is earning revenue.

Corrections and ownership

This tool is operated by the same independent operator as Yardfill. The existing Yardfill support alias is also used for corrections and privacy enquiries about Tankmeasure. See Contact for the exact address and what to include.
